Listed below are the artifacts from the television series "EMERGENCY!" that were donated by Universal City Studios, Hollywood to the Project 51 Committee. These items will be accepted into the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History, in May, 2000. Description: Original black firefighting helmets worn by the cast of "EMERGENCY!". Throughout the years, the helmets have been used on various other television productions and the helmet fronts have been changed. Replicas of the original helmet fronts featuring "L.A. County 51" will be added for the acceptance into the Smithsonian's National Museum of American History.
