The day started cloudy and threatening rain but it turned out to be a great day!.
The Society for the Preservation and Appreciation of Antique Motor Fire Apparatus in America (SPAAMFAA) had their meeting at the museum! Great to see all of you!
We had a lot of visitors and donations today. Lots to eat (pasta salad was super). Two groups of Explorers helped out with moving the apparatus around the floor to make room for the visitors. (And, it really was a test, guys, to put together the paper Squad 51s!) And, you really missed it when Paul and Paul backed the Torrance ladder truck all the way to the back of the warehouse at close of day.
