Welcome to CLAFMA's extensive fire apparatus and artifacts collection for the County of Los Angeles. Please browse our Collection Pages to see a mere sampling of the Museum's almost $1 million inventory. The Museum currently has the largest collection of steamers on the West coast.

Featured in the Collection
1903 American Metropolitan Steamer
The symbol of the museum association and our logo. The Steamer is almost completely restored. All it will need is a matched set of white draft horses. Oh, and the dalmation.
Squad 51 (1972 Dodge)
The most popular and recognizable vehicle in the Museum Association’s collection is the one-ton Dodge truck that was used as “Squad 51” in the 1970's television series “Emergency!” Click here for more information about this vehicle including a photo record of the restoration process.
